In the video, a man dressed in black is seen approaching a cashier counter where two other men are standing in line.

The robber then taps one of the men and gestures for him to move out of the way before pushing the second man and pointing a gun into the cashier's window.

Both of the customers quickly run from the gunman who can be seen leaning into the window and taking items from the counter.

After putting some of the items in his pocket, the robber turns and walks out of view of the camera.

The same man was believed to be involved in six armed robberies that took place in Inglewood between June 10 and June 17, the Inglewood Police Department stated in a news release, which listed the locations.

In each of the six robberies, the suspect was described as a black man between the ages of 25 and 35, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing from 150 to 180 pounds with what was described as a "slim build."

He was said to be seen wearing a "Mo-hawk" or "Fo-hawk" during the crime spree time frame.

He also appears to have used the same semi-automatic handgun in each of the six robberies, according to the Police Department.

In addition to these robberies, investigators identified the same man as being responsible for three more armed robberies at businesses in Los Angeles during June.

The incident began about 3:10 a.m. when uniformed officers responded to a call of an occupied vehicle that was stopped and facing westbound in the second lane at the intersection of Manchester Boulevard and Inglewood Avenue, according to a news release from the Inglewood Police Department.

When they arrived, the officers saw an armed female inside the car, police officials said in the release.

They took a position of cover before ordering both occupants out of the vehicle, the release stated.

The officers then opened fire on both occupants, but police did not say what exactly prompted the shooting.

Several witnesses told KTLA they heard multiple gunshots, with one describing the sound as being like firecrackers going off.

"I heard gunshots -- like, pow, pow, pow, pow, pow -- multiple gunshots," said one woman. "More than six rounds."

Kisha Michael is seen in a Facebook photo.

Hawthorne resident Catalina Garcia, 25, was making a left turn onto 108th Street when her Ford Mustang collided with an Infiniti Q70 that was heading north on Crenshaw Boulevard, the Inglewood Police Department said in a news release.

Both she and her passenger, 27-year-old Ismael Zepeda, of Inglewood, died at the scene. Flames had fully engulfed their vehicle before emergency responders could arrive, video from the scene shows.

Police said the man is cooperating in their investigation. His name has not been released.

Two Inglewood police officers were driving in the area of the station at 1 W. Manchester Blvd. around 11 p.m. when they encountered the suspect who pointed what appeared to be a handgun at them, according to a news release.

“An officer involved shooting occurred and the suspect was struck by gunfire,” the statement read.

The suspect was treated on scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department but was later pronounced dead, officials said. That person was only identified by officials as a male subject.

The two officers involved in the shooting were not injured.

Upon closer inspection, the item that the suspect was in possession of was determined to be a BB gun designed to look like a .44 Super Magnum handgun, authorities stated. The replica handgun and a knife were recovered at the scene, Lt. Oscar Mejia told KTLA.

Surveillance video preliminarily showed the suspect pointing the BB gun at his head and then aiming at officers, according to officials. However, a possible motive was not known.

A BB gun is pictured in photos provided by the Inglewood Police Department on June 23, 2018.

“That’s what we’re trying to determine at this time if it was a suicide by cop or what his motive was,” Mejia said.

The lieutenant went on to say that de-escalation is part of the department's protocol, but it depends on the circumstances and the incident specifically.

"Officers have to look at their options and then take whatever action is appropriate," he said.

Investigators announced Saturday afternoon that a family member of the suspect contacted them earlier in the day, at about 10:45 a.m., to report him missing. That person also said the subject struggled with mental health issues and that he left a suicide note at his home, which was retrieved and booked into evidence.

The L.A. County District Attorney’s Officer-Involved Shooting Rollout Team was conducting a parallel investigation, according to the news release.
